Rationale
The skills covered in our clinics enable participants to ride in control and with more confidence in their own riding. Doing Session 1 or both Sessions together in a peer group encourages individuals to develop their own skills, enjoyment of MTB and fitness whilst supporting their peers in doing the same.
Having completed the clinics, individuals will have the skills to ride faster more safely and corner with more flow. Riders will be able to use their brakes with more control and jump over logs/roots etc. in their path. The pedal wheelies and trials skills even look at the climbing skills needed to stop the ‘off and walk mentality’. Our instructor can even look into individuals bike set-up as needed.
The long term benefits have been widely reported regarding how children develop greater levels of happiness and an increased sense of self-worth through involvement in regular exercise and outdoor activity.
